About the residency program

At Novant Health Family Medicine Residency Clinic, providers completing their residency training work alongside board-certified family medicine physicians. This allows for a team care approach for our patients; you receive care not just from your primary provider but from others who get to know you and your unique health needs. You get the benefit of multiple perspectives and, should your primary provider be unavailable for any acute care needs, you can see another member of the team who will be in close contact with your primary provider and will be familiar with your medical history.

Variety of services

Novant Health Family Medicine Residency Clinic makes medical care convenient. With appointments as early as 8 a.m., you can see a provider before heading to work or bringing your children to school. And since we reserve same-day and next-day appointments for sick or injured patients, you can skip the wait at urgent care and call us for an appointment for your acute care needs.

In addition to preventive and acute care for patients of all ages, our providers also complete many simple procedures, such as wart removal or treatment for simple lesions, in our clinic. Patients can also receive X-rays and have many needed lab tests drawn without leaving our office.
